Here at Stepping Stones Preschool we strictly abide by CDC and state guidelines recommended for preschools to ensure the highest quality of safety for children. We believe in trusting God, loving others, and giving hope. We fully believe we can accomplish these three things through providing a safe & fun academic environment for children.

Liz Valadez

Center Director

Director/Teaches All Age Groups

Liz was born and raised in Fresno and has over 37 years of early childhood teaching experience. Elizabeth is passionate about providing all children the ability to not only grow academically but socially, emotionally and spiritually.  She strives to provide a well-rounded program for each child to develop at their own pace of learning as well as challenge them to reach for the stars. Her office will always be open for parents to share concerns, questions and connect with families in any way she can.  She is excited for what the Lord has planned for Stepping Stones Preschool and all the children placed in her care.

Tonya Hall

Teacher

Teaching in our 4-6 year-old Class

Tonya, has nearly 40 years of experience and has her degree in Early Childhood Education. She ran her own in-home licensed preschool/daycare program for 35 years. In addition, she has worked in Kids Ministries in the local church for 35 years. She is passionate about her work with young children and teaches them to be kind, caring, and compassionate human beings. She believes children learn best through songs, and hands on activities. She uses these methods daily to teach children everything they need to know to succeed in Elementary school.

Bea Rodriquez

Teacher

Teaching in our 2-3 year-old Class

Bea has been teaching preschool for over 20 years. She began her career in Santa Cruz, has worked with Head Start, and at one time ran her own preschool. She graduated from Cabrillo College with her degree in Early Childhood Development. She is passionate about her work and loves to provide a positive caring and educational environment for young children.

In addition, she is the mother of two amazing young adults and has four beautiful grand children who call her grammy. She and her husband love spending time with family, taking walks, going to movies, football, and trying new things.

Stefany Valencia

TEACHER

Teaching in our 4-6 year-old Class

Stefany, has joined us for the summer season. We are excited to have such a wonderful experienced teacher with us.
